TT - rider and spectators down

According to Sky News's garish banner, one rider and two spectators have been
killed at the TT. I'm sure we'll find out more in time, followed by
predictable calls to ban all the good things in life.

but it's not printed on the back of tickets for nothing.

during Thursday practice. IIRC Ginge told me he was returning home early

IIRC Andy and Adie took today off, so won't have been up there at the
time. Black Mike was due to go home today too and wasn't doing another
session, no doubt Keef and Janice will know the details, but I expect
the whole situation needs to be investigated before any details are
released.

Hopefully those that got injured aren't too badly hurt. :-(

The break was bad enough to have it pinned, which was done tonight.
She should be fine, tho.

For those of you who met her, Hillary has a complex multiple fracture
to her leg, which is much more serious. No more news on her
condition.

I was marshalling several miles further up the mountain, and heard
some of the radio traffic. Not had proper chance to talk to Keith
yet, as he's been at the hospital most of the afternoon and evening,
but I've heard several relayed descriptions and it sounds like it was
carnage. For once, I shall refrain from repeating on the internet
what I've heard, and wait until I get the full story.

I suspect the ramifications of two dead spectators will be extremely
serious, tho.

knew any detail, so, if / when you see any of the walking wounded please
