Going for a bit of a quickie - out in the small hours of Friday 5th,
back on the evening of Weds 10th.

    Who else is going?

I'll prolly be at the Sprint. Keef will be campaigning his Jota as
usual (I think he's won the classic class for about the last 6 years).
I won the Streetbike class on my Gixxer 3 or 4 years ago, but the
ZX10R is just too short to launch properly. You're right tho, it's
    definitely a giggle.

It's only May, but you've already won the 'Stupidest Question of the
    Year' competition.

Really, can you imagine me at the TT without a bike?

If only you had a fast, large-engined, powerful bike with a long
    wheelbase.

Well, it is a proper racing event, run to sprint rules. Pillions are
    usually allowed in racing.

Well, yes, but I'm not taking the 'busa just to run it in the sprint,
when the 10R will be a fair bit more suited to the Island the rest of
    the time.

    Well-aimed, though.

    <being serious for a moment>

And it would perhaps develop bikes that could go fast while providing
some reasonable accomodation for the pillion.

Shirley it would just lead to a few dozen jobs for very small, light women
who were prepared to risk death by sitting on a patch of vinyl half the size
of a fag packet for 30 minutes in exchange for money.

Different classes, each with a minimum weight level, is the obvious
    answer to that.
