A quick look at the stats[1] shows August was the quietest month in
UKRM since Feb 2000 (with September not far behind), & every month this
year has had fewer posts than the same month in every year since 2000
(or even 1998/9 in some cases).

Is this just because Bear's vitually stopped posting, or is UKRM dying?
The time between posts during work days seems to have increased
    noticeably recently.

Strangely I've just popped into UKRM after a while away[1]. Hit catch up,
    waited and nothing...

Maybe they've all moved house and not told us.

[1] Had to do some real work for a change.

See it's people like you who are the problem - putting work ahead of
your UKRM duties. There are still plenty of posts at the weekend, but I
don't really 'do' puters at the weekend, unless I'm working. Then I hit
'Get New Messages' on a Monday morning & get hundreds of the bloody
things, most of which I can't be bothered to look at.

Its OK I'm moving jobs soon, leaving the fine world of EKS and joining
permie land so I should have loads more free time to post.

He doesnt even appear to have been annoying people in r.t.e. for ages -
which, conincidentally, has also gone way down in the standards of purile
    and pointless arguement.

Global warming? If the summers have been getting warmer and lasting
longer, then people are out more doing stuff[1] instead of posting on
    the group.

[1] some of which may involve motorbikes

ISTR it was colder than average this year until July, which was pleasantly warm,
then it was cold again. Anyone know some good sites with weather statistics?
