I've been searching for a right front turn signal for my 1995 triumph
sprint 900, but no luck yet. Any suggestions?

Is there some industry-standard for turn signal lenses? (So that
instead of having to search for a specific bike model's lens, i can
look at the broken lens and see that its a type such-and-such, and buy
    a compatible lens)

This may be a revelation to you, but have you considered going to a
    Triumph dealer?

Triumphant, in Wales, might also be able to help out, and probably much
    cheaper too.

    Dear Pip,

Thank you for the revelation. I'm pretty stingy though, so I think that
    would be my last resort.

  5. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Christofire amazed us all with this pearl of
    wisdom:
Phoning them would require a trunk call.

  6. Coo, brilliant idea.

When my Trophy needed a new indicator (afther The Doctor reversed into
it), where was the first place I went?

    Carl Rosner.

I'm always amazed at these twonks who ask: "Where can I get..." and
ignore the obvious. I mean, we've got a bloke elsewhere asking where he
can get piston rings for a Suzuki....

It's Borg asking, what do you expect, he's Welsh. Any self-respecting
Welshman would do what every other self-respecting Welshman would do,
he'd go out and steal them from another bike.

  8. Well, fuckwit, if you wanted one for next-to-no money, why not fucking
    say so?

Used indicators come up all the time on Ebay. Set up a search-and-email,
if you've got the brains, which I really doubt at this juncture, and
wait for one to fall into your lap.

OTOH, if he'd asked for gaskets....

  10. It's like Scousers, innit? I have a theory that there are only about
four car radios in Liverpool, and they just continually circulate
    between cars.

I just phoned up Jack Lilley, asked for one to be held for me, and half an
    hour later, had it !

    Snip sigs, please.
And sort yourself a sig separator. Thanks.

    2. If you'd asked for alternatives you'd have got them.

    3. You came across as a bit fick, you see.

    4. You've not managed to improve the situation.

Clutch in, take right hand off throttle, hold out horizontally sideways.

Voila - DIY right turn signal.

I their tools section they also sell an item called a "sig trimmer",
looks like you didn't pick up one of those while you were there.
