two numbers

As (I think) the most recent accredited KotL for two# (until I
disqualified myself), I was recently approached by a young apprentice
seeking knowledge. I believe the KotLship cannot be held by one so
disqualified, and therefore I cannot give out a new number. Was there
one who wished to take up the mantle, or had we just decided the whole
thing was a bit silly?

 

It's a bit seasonal really. Some of the heroes ride a bike through the
summer and think they should claim a two # then as soon as a bit of
freezing fog hits their visor they turn the number in and buy a car
until the following spring.

 

I only had a bike licence for many years, but as soon as I managed to
acquire a car licence it became a matter of expediency for me to have
a car (my Dad buying the car for me helped considerably). I've ridden
in freezing fog; it's no fun, and I don't blame them. I don't think
there's anything particularly noble in choosing to ride a bike in all
weathers; I have, and I will again, but I don't have to right now (and
the car makes life easier for the SO and spawn).

 

What are you on about? Anyone can do admin, just revoke your own
number.

New rule: full car licence is a bar to entry.

That should keep the riff-raff out.

I didn't own a car over here until I was 24 and up until that time
(apart from when working overseas) I rode in all weathers. It was
fucking horrible but I couldn't afford to have a bike and a car.

 

Seasonal? Seems a bit fucking pointless really!
