Just a quick note to the group.

We are doing a two up ride from Richmond NSW to Rylstone NSW on the 24th &
25th Oct. A short trip but relaxed. A few blokes and sheilas from work are
going. We have about 28 bikes and about forty people so far.

Route will be Richmond up the Bells Line and across to MT Vic, down to
Little Hartley. Stop for breakfast. Through to Jenolin Caves, smoke stop.
Carrying on to Bathurst, stopping for lunch. Through to Sofala, pit stop.
Then to Windermere Dam and the back road to Rylstone. Stay at Rylstone the
night. Country Breakfast the next day then through Kandos to Ilford along
Castlereagh road to Pearson's Lookout, then to Lithgow. Back down the Bells
    Line to finish.

Ill be meeting up with them at the Cockatoo Café at Hartley and filming the
ride. If anybody from here is out riding those days wave frantically at the
Black FJR 1300. Ill post the pics if there's any takers.

What a buzz! My club has an annual ride to Rylstone, this year some 63
    people... we overflowed to Kandos!
You reckon? Pit stops at Sofala quickly stretch into half an afternoon...
I'm still looking forward to spending a whole weekend there!
Make sure you stay at the Globe, not the "bottom" pub, f'n dive.

Gary (Sofala is the only place I've been where you can buy nuggets of
alluvial gold over the counter :)

We have had to book out the Globe and the pub. Singles stay at the pub and
    couples at the Globe.
The Globe is a top pub (its my local) Big Al and Tina really look after bike
riders. Unfortunately they can't cater for a large group in one sitting so
we are eating at the Rylstone Club. Should be a good night. :)

If you could make it, you would be most welcome.
