Your roundabouts in QLD have 12 exits? Faaark!

In the last couple of years here in the West we got inclusions in our
veehicle renewals explaining roundabouts. There were two versions of the
explanations and I've never met anyone who understood either of them.

If you're going straight on, don't indicate but you must indicate from the
previous exit when leaving the roundabout. Riiight!

obviously you have never encountered the roundabout on Princes Rd at Mitcham

I haven't encountered a vehicle with more than 2 indicators yet
either... so you'll just have to do the best you can with what you have.
How much more difficult do you want to make things for yourself?

OH I just googled that roundabout up, and it isn't even a 5 entry
roundabout. East Parade intersects with Princes Rd prior to the
roundabout, so it is a separate intersection.

    http://tinyurl.com/3dtck7

If you want to see a true 5 entry roundabout, you should look at
(ironically) Princess St, Kew in Melbourne, where all 5 roads feed into
    the roundabout,

    http://tinyurl.com/3797j7

and (you might find this hard to believe) people actually get around the
roundabout with only 2 indicators without having accidents. Freaky !!

and you haven't encountered a roundabout with three exits within 90 degrees
    e.g. 9 o'clock, 10.30 and 12 o'clock

you definitely have a different definition of 'roundabout'

might be a traffic island setup, but a roundabout it is NOT ...

It's round, the traffic goes around it, and it has a roundabout sign
prior to each entry. If that's not a roundabout I don't know what you
    think it is.

For even more roundabout fun you'd probably want to be a the top of
Elizabeth St in the city, where you not only have all the usual
roundabout fun, but trams with right of way cutting diagonally across
    the middle of the roundabout...

    http://tinyurl.com/26k4so

and there's another 5 pointed roundabout if you scroll a couple of
hundred metres to the left of the big one. Looks like you'd have a
nervous breakdown after 3 intersections in Melbourne.

That's the way it SHOULD be; I've never seen any official print that says
    that's the way it is.
Dammit; I was 1/4 clock out. Read that as 8:50 please.
This is my point. Someone in the left lane legally going "straight ahead"
(from 9 o'clock) will cross the path of someone in the right lane legally
going straight ahead (from 6 o'clock)!

This one has changed since I lived near it. the 2 roads the form the arc
    next to the
park used to go to the roundabout. was interesting then. Its nearly 50m in
    diameter.
We used to go around and around, If I recall correctly I think the most was
    8 times.

I don't see it working in Sydney though .....
