Need a new front tyre bridgestone 014 120/65/ can i find a good dealer
in newcastle? can i bugger. Main dealers wants extortionate amounts
Kawasaki Ncle for ex. want £120 fitted.

I can get one fitted for £75 quid but thats in Dewsbury and I have a
    slow puncture(1).

Anyone know any good cheap suppliers/fitters in and around the toon?

    (1) Ultraseal did not cure it.

    Doesn't surprise me.
Can't you just get it repaired?
I get mine done by DIT in Washington. Or try Hunters on the hill, but
you'll have to take in a loose wheel.
Hmmm... have you checked it's not just the valve?

Yes its the tyre. Did the rub fairy liquid around it and found the
split! Got at least a good 1000 miles left on it an all!!

Also I have paddock stands but the front one obscures the axle nuts, so
i cannot remove the wheel - although i asked the supplier before i
    bought the bloody thing.

I posted 2 weeks ago a link on eBay for a guy who runs a garage in Cumbria.
    170/55R17 only cost me £34.99 + p&p (£12).

He should be able to help you out.

His eBay user ID is davemilling. I highly recommend him, I paid via paypal
and the tyre arrived 2 days later.

My local grease monkey is charging me £15 to put it on and balance it.
