A mate at work reckons the only tyre that's recommended on his Pan
Euro ST1300 (ABS) is the Dunlop D220ST.

He's had three punctures in a year so any thoughts as to other
manufacturers that make a suitable spec tyre?

I don't think that frequency of punctures is in any way down to the
    brand of tyre you use.

Don't some brands now come with a no-puncture guarantee?

it's not so much a guarantee as a refund policy. IIRC, they will give
you a new tyre if yours gets punctured within.... is it the first
    millimetre of wear?

It's a canny policy, because it sounds good, and I think most
punctures, like the vast majority, occur when the tyre is bady worn.

I didn't mean to infer that the choice of tyre contributed to the
punctures. It was more that he's only got one choice and he commented
    that it was getting pricey.

I suggested Avons which, as you say, have at least *some* refund
policy. One of his punctures was within 500 miles, so could possibly
have saved him 100 or so quid.

Tell your bosses to try Avon Azaro 3 AV45/46 STs on a couple of bikes.
General opinion is that they are a much better tyre than the BT020 on
this type of bike as they last longer/grip better wet or dry. Cheaper
    too, by all accounts.

Make/manufacturer won't stop him getting punctures though will it? Tell him
to stop riding through builders yards.

Yippee:) I seem to get a puncture within the first 500 miles of a tyre
change. Every fucking time. Immunity is very appealing, so it looks like I
    *really* owe you sir.

Did Loz mention he's on commission for all sales made this year? :)

I'm going to try a pair of these shortly. Have you any idea what the
'B' suffix refers to on the 190/50R17? Several sites (including Avon's)
list versions with and without the suffix but give no indication of
    what the difference is.

    Anyone?
