Wouldn't a "Hammo" manoeuvre be to pop up and remind you that you parked
your bike in a car while you are analysing someone elses part in their own
    crash?

About the only semantics that wasn't/isn't boring.

He might but he'd probably use relevant examples... he's educated you know.

I don't know much about tyres but I'm happy if i get over 5,000k's out of a
rear. Guess there is a big diff. between the way a cruser eats rubber than a
sportsbike. Or more the type of tyre peoples use for different types of
    riding.
In my head, which isn't all that well organised, the idea of comparing tyre
milage for different back tyres is kinda pointless?
I know for a fact, same tyre with a pillion doesn't go as far.

Long story short. Too many variables to make a valid comparison.

There's my 2 bobs worth. More money spent unwisely, but hey. you read it.:)
    Cheers to all,
    Geoff

You'll find that tyre wear is not even. The bottom half of your tread may not
last as long as you think.

Eh? Still wondering if the question will be answered.

Relevance? Bike, car - bike into car ->
aus.motorcycles....................hmmmmm I hate these slow days....

So are you drawing a comparison this time?
A very slow aus.moto day. That's why I rode to Marysville Bakery for lunch :)

Can't draw a comparison when no facts are (or appears will be) presented.

What is quite interesting is that you readily have a point of view on other
peoples misfortunes but seem to be reluctant to divulge circumstances of
your own misfortune, or your resultant (if any) behavioural change or
    further education.

Glad to see you made it back okay.

Then why do you continue down this path of insinuation?
If other people choose to post details of their misfortunes that is their own
choice and everyone else is free to respond in whatever manner they like,
whether they or you like it or not. Last time I checked there was no aus.moto
rule which said you cannot voice your opinion on other people's stories unless
you provide full and frank accounts of your own.

    Uh huh

Can't understand why it took you all day to say "I'm not going to tell you"

Still, as I said, it was a slow day.......relieved the boredom a tad
