If someone living alone loses 10% of their housing benefit, which is
highly unlikely to cover the full cost of their rent in the first place,
then that additional 10% is a big **** off chunk out of the £62 they get
    each week.
Behave. There are far more people looking for places to rent than there
are places available. It's going to take a remarkably kind landlord to
drop his profit when he can easily get someone else in who will pay the
    full amount, and on time.

I expect he was just having a pop at Des. I've got no complaints in that
department. However, my ex is the most selfish, self centred person I've
ever encountered and she's not Jewish.

do you know, I don't ever think I've shagged a Jewess. Plenty of
    selfish, self-centred birds, mind.

Where? Certainly not around here. The number of rental places has
increased dramatically over the last few years, & the rents have gone
    down as a result.
Speaking as a landlord, I disagree entirely. I was stiffed to the tune
of 2k a couple of years ago by two separate tenants. My current tenants
have paid late for the last four months. It's far from uncommon.
Reliable tenants are a god-send & when you've got them you try to keep
    them.

Isn't that just for a fairly short time though?
But the council won't cover the interest forever. Unless I'm completely
    wrong, of course.

....what? You live in the same house for a good long time, not having
to pay your mortgage, and then what?

Or do you see ownership of a house as an "investment"?

    Apparently, they isn't Jewess's anymore.

Not always though. I think, for example, that the vast majority of
voters who voted for successive tory governments in the 1980s knew
exactly what they wanted, and got it.

I'm not 100% sure of the answer to that. AFAIK it's no different to them
paying rent when you're unemployed or on extremely low income.

It's more likely the problem would be that your mortgage company may
restrict the length of time they're prepared to accept interest-only
payments rather than a time limit on the housing benefit.

Well there we go... Anyway, if anyone ever thought that all jews
really were like Des you could almost understand why they might have a
pathalogical urge to kill all jews...
