They'll have been allowing time for the walk through St Pancras then
over the road to Kings Cross. The station has changed a lot and it's a
bit of a hike just to get on a tube to wherever your final destination
is.

It's probably worth pointing out that if you catch the slower trains
from Bedford to St Pancras you're guaranteed a seat because they start
from Bedford and as far as I know none of them stop at every station.

 

That's probably because it's a bastard to commute to London if you
have to use a car.

 

I think you need a major reality check if you think the average couple
could save £50k in a year.

 

Reminds me of taking my Yachtmaster offshore practical exams.

I had a Johnson 40HP 2 stroke outboard that would suck up fuel at the
same rate.

 

I'd love one although I've never sailed a large cat.
One draw back is marinas charge you double the mooring fees.

Oh to live somewhere warm with my own safe moorings for a boat.
