Just go watch the original again. And either side of it watch The
Matrix and Blade Runner. Then you've saved 10 quid.

Excellent film in terms of 3D and special affects completely let down
by them not even bothering to think of a new story.

I am planning on watching the original later today having seen the new
    one last week.
I wasn't even convinced by the 3d, maybe it's me but so far it's just
a gimmick & a way to make it difficult for those with cameras in the
    movie house.

I'm broken up that David Tennant is going to marry Georgia Moffett[1].
The spiralling levels of incest there when you mix up real-life and story
    lines is just kaleidoscopic!

Tron is a character for which a universe has been created. Plenty of
stories could be set in that universe.

Don't bother. The original was a boring mess.

Being a bit of a Tron geek, I saw the payload as soon
as they entered "The Grid" :-(

As you say, excellent effects and a worthy follow-up,
but the first one wasn't exactly Gone With The Wind.
