Typically bored on a flight and with nothing else of interest I decided to
watch: Stealth. It was described by one critic as "Top Gun on steriods",
and I expected nothing more than a cheesy action flick.

It was sort of a combination of Top Gun meets Flight of the Navigator but
without the atmosphere. A "plot" with child like simplicity it failed to
do anything but make me think about how long the flight was. The special
effects were mediocre and concentrated on a hazing effect of viewing stuff
through the heat haze of the after burners. The flying itself wasn't even
    realistic unless you're a window-licker.

I only persevered because I was too tired to read, and everything else had
    already started.

More like Top Gun on depressants.

    Never even heard of it...

Oh, hold on ... there was a poster at the cinema that said there was
some new film with that talentless singing **** in it - that would be
    Stealth, yes?

I saw it on a flight from Bangkok, well actually I saw about half an hour of
it before the Valium did it's job. I also saw 10 minutes of War of the
    Worlds.

I'll wait for it to make the "Last Chance Channel PPV (1.99USD)" on
    satellite.

Right, 30 seconds into the film I wanted to shoot Cruise. A minute after
that I wanted his family dead too. Not too much later, I was cheering
for the Martians. What a pile of pooh.

No time, I'm holding a seance, I'm looking for Senator Mc Carthy's
ghost. I want him to open a hearing so he can blacklist Spielburg for
directing such a piece of shite.

I am glad it wasn't only me, the entire film seemed to consist of
Cruise running away. Unmitigated shite, by comparison Van Helsing is
    an intellectual movie.
