ukrm-london beer night 20th Nov. 2009

I will have done.

My cunning strategy is working. While they are tuning up the
proton beams we're leaving our detector powered down since it's close to
the beam-pipe and vulnerable to damage if the beams go astray (think
electron avalanches, a.k.a sparks and arcs). So we don't need someone on
shift watching the power supplies, etc. I've already had my Sunday shift
cancelled while they splash protons about, but since I got less than three
weeks' notice, Brunel is still credited with the ... um ... credits.

apart from anything else, nice use of the "future perfect" tense,
which is worrying given that you twats are fucking with base reality.

 

whoever turns up will have to contend with some of my "other friends"
as I've expanded the invitation to ensure I don't end up spending
another night with just Ogden.

heh - well, #1 stepson might come along, but mainly the ex-coworkers
and general hangers-on (including, thrillingly for ukrm, maybe some
females and non-caucasians!!!)
