OK, whats the form with this? I know what Nova is, I'm a member of
the original. But who runs the UKRM one? How do I join, etc. I'd
    gladly do *some* hosting.

Go to the website (a web google will show it up), register for an
account. Then sit back and wait for the admin[1] of said site to
activate your account. Finally, setup the bittorrent client of your
    choice and join in.

[1] he may be at chimay this weekend though

Well, AIUI, it's best kept as hush-hush as possible. However, a few
    have bandied it about.

  11. I've been seeding that all weekend as per your earlier post - are you
    sure you're connected right?

Errr...short answer, and most concise, it would appear not. I'll run up

if you have a dynamic IP, which most retail ISP users will have, you need
to be logged into UKRMNova when you fire up your Bitorrent client, reboot
    your router/modem/PC.

  15. It was offline today anyway, but is up now.

It doesn't let my torrent client on until I open a browser window at
    http://statto.dyndns.org/tracker/browse.php?c10=1 , whereupon it
    connects fine.

Well, I can't find anything obvious, tried the above, but I'm browsing
    the FAQ at the moment.

Top marks to Statto for the FAQ, very conscise, broad, well formatted.
All FAQs should be like that.

Ok, I've obviously fucked something up. I'll come back to it sober, so
keep it there for a few days and I'll bugger about. I have downloaded
stuff before, so at the moment I'm at a bit of a loss :(
