Check. Ish. What's "appropriate" mean? Can I get away with my Daytona
    uberboots?
    It might be the B12.
    How are you accepting payments?

Only a blatant beg to the masses for crash space betwixt Mallroy and
    Harwich.

I presume you mean race boots as Sidi's, for example, aren't leather
    </pedant>

I'm a maybe at the moment just because I really am not sure if the
Strom will be any fun on the track.

Probably come up and watch though (assuming one can still get my the
    marshall's etc).

    Yes, it will.
    The marshall's what?

In my vast experience of trackdays, spectating isn't a problem at all.

Perhaps Sidi can borrow somebody else's?

    Yeah yeah, maybe.
"By" - You have to cross the track to get into the pits/spectating
areas at Mallory - therefore if the day is underway you can't get in.

    Yeah yeah.
It's slow, doesn't corner stupednously well and has lousy brakes.

Not sure that's a recipe for fun if you ask me :)

    Fun for other people possibly.

  14. Eh? I went to spectate at a race school day last year, although I
couldn't cross the bridge while the bikes were on track there was plenty
of spectator space around the outside of the track.

I thought we were lost on the way - "but this is a housing estate?!"

    It's all relative. My MV's 117db at 40% RPM...
On the two I've been on (both at Anneau du Rhin), they checked every
bike with a meter before letting them on the track.

Some tracks have "quiet" days (road-legal exhausts only).

Others have days that allow exhausts louder than that.
I have. Someone got tested by a member of the track staff, and had to
swap his ridiculously-loud exhaust for something /slightly/ quieter.

It is a little too loud really. I've been experimenting with new
baffles, but haven't hit the sweet spot yet. I have become a dab-hand
at drilling out rivets though, & the local fastener suppliers love me.

I'll try to get it down to around 100 before getting the Power
    Commander re-mapped.

  20. I'm interested. I think I've made enough of a virtual **** of myself to
back it up in RL. Oh, and I have a ****'s bike too. And hideous
leathers. How bad could the day get?
