Yeah, and you NEVER want to wear a four piece patch. It means you're gay and all the cockswallowers will be after you! lol

and all the cockswallowers will be after you! lolI wouldn't worry about cockswallowers as much as I would about people who
    want _their_ cock swallowed.

    What's an "OMC"?

In any case, you have to wonder about a group of superannuated old gits
carrying on like 10 yo kids with their "clubs", cubby huts, and so on...

I remember arriving in Canberra about 20-mumble years ago. Was on my
way back from Brisbane on me spanking new VF1000R.

Pulled up at quite a nice hotel in centre of Canberra (can't recall
its name now though) only to be told by the receptionist "Rooms are
$XX per night, there's a cheaper motel down the road". Fecking cheeky
bitch. I asked if they had a nice restaurant (which they did, silver
service) and proceeded to book a room and got her to book me into the
    restaurant as well.

Had a similar experience around the same time at a hotel in Hobart.

Thankfully those days seem to be behind us.

When I returned to riding a few years ago after a 6 year layoff, I
started organising overnight and 3 day rides to various spots.

At first i was reluctant to state that we were a bunch of riders who
wanted accomodation. However, I've since found that there's been no
issues about this, and in fact, quite a few of the hotels and motels
    actively encourage bike groups.

Only problem we had was when staying at the Ocean View Motel in
Merimbula. We just came across from Tintaldra and it was a stinker of a
day. We had Phil the motel owner order us a coupla slabs before we got
    there.

So, there we were, hanging by the pool, sipping a can or two, when a
Statesman with ACT plates turns up. Half an hour later they were gone.
Phil came over and had a chat.

Apparently the fellow and his missus (mostly the fellow) objected to our
presence, and made claims that we were being abusive and obnoxious. He
supposedly took laughter as a sign of aggressiveness. Phil said, there
are 15 of them and 2 of you. With respect to my income, you do the
    maths.

They left. Funnily enough, when we rocked up to the Chinese restaurant
down the road, guess who was sitting at the next table....

  9. Yeah - the Gardner era was the turning point.

I was working at SBS when they were telecasting the GPs and Gardner
was shaping up to become a major force. SBS were plugging it to the
max and Gardner posters were in the Kirribilli foyer everywhere, etc.

Anyway - I had a habit of parking my VF in the forecourt, but some
batty old bitch who happened to be the building manager got shitty
with me about it. I said "but SBS is promoting motorcycling", "Yes but
it will drop oil everywhere!" Arrghhh. But she ended up giving me a
keycard to the underground carpark which was better anyway :)

Hmmm, that web site is a keeper. Society could learn a lot from
them outlaw MC fellers - if only society could lose it's blinkers
    for a minute or so.

(Also makes it more clear than ever that ulyssians with
'colours' and/or 'rockers' are 'wankers' who, IMNSHV, have
well earned the attitude adjustments that they're apparently
    receiving in/around Canberra)

Personally I'd say they've earned a bit of rough taunting, and
perhaps some vicious sarcasm. But I never did really understand
why Outlaws spend so much time creating their own, strange
microcosm when they could just be sticking to the drinking,
    drugs, women and bikes.

    Oh goodie!

Isn't he the one who thinks that him saying, in a very loud voice, the
U.C. is not a motorcycle club, makes it true?

I keep thinking that the U.C. is kinda like americans........
individually, many of the nicest people that you could possibly meet,
but, as an organised group, seriously silly.
    Could be. :-|

And today I'm really feeling it. Playing pool and sipping bourbon and

    best" any more....
