    Thank you.
The answer to your question is actually a question. "Do you want a good job,
or a cheap job?" You obviously can't have both and I don't do cheap because
when a job is done I use the "Would I be happy with this job if it was for
my own machine" yardstick and if so I'm happy and that allows me to say "I
did that" rather than "That's got **** all to do with me".

Of course, that ethic requires somewhat more time be spent on the job than
otherwise could be spent and therefore it costs more.

Now, is the tank already silver or some other colour that you want to change
to silver and is there *any* damage to the tank at all?

I know, more questions than answers, but you can email me for a better idea.

    Sorry, do I know you?

BTW, it looks like there will be another Morini tank winging its way to
you in the not to distant future.

You did NOT want to see the look on the boychic's face when I saw him
working out more flakey shite from your tank and said "Belay that Skipper,
we're returning to port for a replacement".

The words "You ARE taking the fucking piss I hope?" sneaked past his lips
    :)

  12. I'm grinning like a loon here, because I've seen the interior of Timo's
garage and I know that the supply of completely clapped out bike bits
for restoration is just about limitless.

Beav, you know those few remaining grey hairs you have? Kiss 'em
    goodbye.

(It's a funny thing. Only two people on ukrm, when I've met them in the
flesh, have ever corresponded 100% to my mental image of them. Mick
Whittingham was the first. Beav is the second.)

Well, if I'd heard you use such poncy language, I'd have had a look on
    my face too.)

I always got the feeling that Timo was a collector of sorts. I didn't know
quite how much of a collector he was though. At least the things he's
collected that have seen the inside of our place now look fucking good.
I'm trying to get some more first.
You sir, have a very strange mind's eye.

How much (stab in the dark, finger in the air, no obligation, type of
quote) for a tank, mudguard and tailpiece on a CBX.

    Paint code R-101C-U

    or NH-101M-U at a push

    I have decals.

Feel free to reply off-group if appropriate.

Would a replica tail-fin be better for you than a cracked original?
