Undertail for SV1000s?

Hi Folks,

Haven't looked in on this site for some time. I made the mistake of getting
a job where I had to work for a living.

Just wondered if anyone has seen a replacement undertail for the SV which
deletes that big ugly mud gaurd?

I droped in to MCA in Sydney and all they could offer was some dodgy steel
plate for 60 odd bucks. I think I could bodgy something more suitable
together myself.

Yes, I have seen many a good jobs out there, there was a really good
American one which gave you huge storage and made it look good.

one of them sv sites.. www.svrider.com sells them I think, might be from
yanky doodle land tho...

www.amcmotorcycles.com.au have them for SV1000s 2003+ so that would
suit I think. There's only been one series of SV1000 so far hasn't there?

Bit rich at $290 I reckon though.

You could buy one for an SV650 and add 54%

 

For $300 I'd be sticking with the big ugly mudguard.......
