I'm not defending anyone, just testing the law. IIRC from the roadrules, when
traffic becomes congested then all lanes can be used.
I don't have much trouble travelling behind a slow convoy of anything trucks
etc, but some people engage in roadrage and do stupid things in an attempt to
speed you up even though you may be at the speed limit, like tailgating etc.
The way I figure it with a group of riders hogging the road, they ain't gonna be
there forever, like setting up camp then building houses on the bitumen, so you
can't get home ever, so just hang back and chill out.

  4. I remember chasing 3 gypsy jokers back from toodjay on my blackbird a few years
ago. They were not hanging about and it took me 1/2 an hour to catch up to
them at well over the old fashioned ton. I was wondering how the hell they
were hanging on with non faired bikes.

Have you ridden many bikes with ape hangers and forward pegs?

The 'Orrible 'Onda Chop didn't have forward pegs so it wasn't too hard
to ride at speed, but I found the ape hangered forward pegged XS650 I
tried to be a bugger to ride at speed as the wind blast forced me back
and the pegs made it hard to brace with my legs. It was hard not to
hang on to the bars to stay upright, more solid core muscles would
    have helped.

prehensile 6-pack, the next step in unobtainable male body image.

(although why I would have one is left as an exercise for the reader,
    answers on a postcard please)

Dunno what you use to hold your upper body up in such a situation if
it isn't your hands or your core, perhaps you use a milk crate on the
    pillion seat?

From what I've seen of a lot of cruiser riders it's their stomach
resting on the tank and their arse filling the front half of the stepped
cruiser seat that keeps them wedged in position :) [1]

    there's a [small] difference) ;-)

  10. Long enough. I know at 200km/h on the street fighter I am hanging on for dear
life. On the blackbird at 200kmh you were sitting in a nice pocket of still
    air.
