I know there are some twisted individuals in both groups who enjoy a
good outfit and some in particular have a soft spot for Urals.

Tonight on Discovery Home And Leisure is a show called Ultimate Biker
Challenge starts at 9pm, with the presenter going to Russia to seek out
    Urals.

    Just for your information.

That would be interesting, but my wife owns the television.

Thank the lord for Battlefield 2142 and Half Life2.

    Which is worse I wonder?

Gardening programmes. Other gardening programmes. Time Team. Antiques
Roadshow. Midsomer Murders. Ged forbid I should want to watch the news.

you only have one television? How quaint.

    Seriously, though:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/prod...hvd19wcm9kdWN0X3Jldmlld3M=&product_uid=108219

just over 21 quid delivered on super-saver - picks up about 30
freeview channels even with just the little antenna supplied. I got
one a few weeks back to finish off my (very nice) Acer L100 SFF/Media
Centre PC that I bought for my homeoffice. The Ebuyer stick integrates
seamlessly into Windows Media Center, if you have that, or it has a
    standalone player/recorder.

Well Platy it is on the Sky+ box and can be transferred to DVD along
with the rest of the series which makes for quite good viewing, or if I
can work out how can rip it and put it on the web/Gdrive.

There's a few lying around the place, but the useable ones are hung off the
    one Telewest cable box.
We're in a seriously crap signal area, and then there's the lethargy
    problem...

ah - we still have cable, because when I phoned up to cancel it after
the Sky pull-out, they offered it to us for a year for free. Oh, and
the broadband's going up to 20Mb in a month or so, which is an
    incentive to stay.
    ah.

Keep your eyes open for late night repeats when you can wrest the remote
    from tired hands.

Wozza Pole has done the speedway challenge, the off road/Ural outift
challenge and a couple of others this week, where the regular slot only has
him doing one challenge each week.

The bloke is a fucking nutter though.

**** me, I get to watch the news every fucking time it's on. Then the wife
(also in charge of the remote) gets on this pooter and reads the new again.
In Swedish. Strangely, it's just the fucking same old shit.

Ditto [1]. Doctor Who, Life on Mars, MotoGP, Star Trek, Futurama. Life
    is good.

[1] Actually, my future-ex-wife is East Enders, Corrie, and any old
shite. How glad I am that my once and present girlfriend has similar
taste to me, as well as liking bikes and being able to sing to
complement my guitar playing. Well, we both deserve a match made in
    heaven...
