    Hi!

One short question. Where is the best to look for the used bikes ads?
I found autotrader and ebay? Where else? Some local papers? I'm in
    Nottingham.

    Kind regards

Most of the other bike sales sites don't seem to have much traffic/
    choice.

Used Bike Guide - a periodic publication - for background info.

    Hope this helps,

For cheap stuff, ebay's probably the best. I was looking for a sub-£1k
bike last year and found autotrader and MCN had very view ads apart
from over-priced dealer part-exs. Having said that, and having got fed
up with travelling to see bikes listed on ebay only to be out bid at
the last minute, I bought a reasonable CBR6 from an ad in autotrader.
It was pretty much the only decent thing on there I saw in 2 months of
looking. The seller hadn't had any other calls though, so I reckon
most people must rely almost totally on ebay for that kind of thing
    now.

Thanks guys for answering. I'm looking for something like CBR600/ZX6
or maybe ZX9, for aprox 2k £. I will try to look on auto/biketrader
and ebay (something relatively close Nott). Hope to find something
    decent.

    Regards

I think you'll find, cunty-bollocks, that it isn't the same site at
    all.

    www.autotrader.co.uk has the letters a, u, t and o in it.
    www.biketrader.co.uk hasn't.

Anyway, what the **** do you know about used bikes?

    Fucking newbie.

    So, what does that prove?

    Nothing, that's what it proves.
Which is "some" more than I do, so I've give you that one.

And related websites http://motoring.friday-ad.co.uk/Bikes.asp, and (small
but growing) www.ukbike.com, where there is currently 1600+ bikes for sale.
