    Hi,

I'm considering/in the process of changing my ISP.

The new ISp does not provide a news server. They reccomend using

    http://readfreenews.net/

Anybodu know of this, is it any good? Is any free news server any good?

I can't remember the details for the german server that you now have to
pay for. Any one know them and how much it is?

Any info/comments/advice will be read/sorted and spat out in the
    appropriate bin :)

    thanks

    news.individual.net, costs E10 a year. Or news.motzarella.org aka the
    cheesy server, which is free.

Neither of them carry binaries, if you need/want those you'll be looking
    at the likes of Supernews.

I used to use RFN. Last I heard, you couldn't register for a posting
account. I misplaced my login details in a machine rebuild, and they
    wouldn't provide a copy.

I'm now oin the Cheezy - OK, but every now and then it throws a tantrum
whilst posting, and multiple copies appear.

One of these days, I'm going to get round to not being so damn pikey.
