V-10 Dodge Tomahawk Motorcycle

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Hans the KRAUT, Aug 16, 2006.

  1. The Tomahawk is a Viper V-10 based motorcycle, a 500 horsepower engine
with four wheels beneath it. The engine breathes through twin throttle
bodies mounted right up front. It can reach 60 miles an hour in about
2.5 seconds, and has a theoretical top speed of nearly 400 mph. Each
pair of wheels is separated by a few inches and each wheel has an
independent suspension. Bernhard said four wheels were necessary to
handle the power from the engine.

    Hey Steve *

If this Motorcycle can't wake you up, I don't know what can ?!
I think 500 Horsepower can keep you awake.

    Anyways, Greetings from California

  4. The problem is, it woke us all up about 3 fucking years ago... And it never
    fucking worked anyway.

I await your next exclusive look at the "astounding new" Brough Superior or
the "forthcoming" Norton Nemesis with bated breath....

Ignoring the fact that it's been around for years, would you really
trust the engineering from a company that reckon it'll do "nearly 400
mph"? I think their "theoretical" must be based purely on bhp & gear
ratios, completely ignoring drag. There's no way that'll get anywhere
near 400mph without at least double the power, & even then I seriously
    doubt it.

Besides, the suspension's so soft it'd probably spit you off at
    anything over 80.

Plus it's been put together by someone that doesn't understand about
the need for lean angles while cornering.
