    I'll give him a swop for a 2000 regd W plate ZX-9R, that's about fair.

You would swap your 9R for a lardy tourer?

Dunno what the weather is like up there... but down here, it's fecking awful
at the moment... so if at all possible, I'd advise him to hang onto it a bit
longer, if he wants sensible money for it.

Nooo, this is going to be a bargain methinks as he needs to get rid right
now, and what is this weather thing? I was out today.

I am in Kent... we're not used to it... the blizzard thing.

<FX: sups more luke warm shandy>

As for the bike... if you want the trade prices, I *may* be able to get you
them within the next few days, if you like.

I am in Bedfordhire so the weather is always quite good here. A price
would be handy if you can manage it, I know he is keen to get rid ASAP. If
you can mail me that would be great, email is in headers and is trapped.

    Cheers

If he's desparate, start bidding at 4.5k.

What would you call a 9R if it's not a lardy old tourer?

Do you still get the rather good thunder storms down there? That was
the best bit about living in Kent. Well, that & the combination of the
    Dartford tunnel & race cans.

The two things not connected then? ;-)

Erm, last summer wasn't all that in a thunder sense, at least here in
    Canterbury.

We're slap bang in a valley though, so when it does kick off, it tends to
hang about a bit longer than perhaps it would otherwise.

That is because they moved north to this part of the world thus deprived
us of our regular light shows and muted rolls of distant rumbling
    thunder on the Southern horizon.

Ah well... we appear to have received all the poxy snow from the north, as a
    trade off.

They can keep their flat caps, pigeons and whippets, mind.

Heh, good point. Maybe I can generate some here when they build the
    tunnel under Stonehenge.
Maybe Chauntecleer needs some viagra before he can start banging again
    ;-)

Try turning the burners off, at Canvey - helps reduce the global warming,
    innit.

That, and get the county council to run a promotion aimed at persuading the
joyriders it's kinder to the environment if they don't torch the car, once
    they dump it.
Ooh, look... a bottle of Leffe I'd forgotten about.

I think Canvey is one of those areas where a Managed Retreat in the old
coastal defence plan could be well received locally. Certainly us
mainlanders would be 100% in favour.

I've never ventured any closer to it, than the A13... seemed nearer than
    you'd really like.
