Absolutely! You have no idea how much I envy you, though, for being there before the wall came down. The scale of the whole thing is unbelievable. I think I did pretty much everything on the list, too. I must be getting old 'cos I really do enjoy visiting galleries and museums these days. Bizarrely, I found that East Berlin is dramatically nicer than the West of the city. I'm guessing that it's had a lot of money poured into since the wall came down. Although it did also seem to have retained a lot more old buildings than the west side as well. I'm not sure if I'd go back. I certainly didn't fall in love with the place like I have done with so many of the other cities I've spent time in, but it is worth a visit. Oh, and the one thing I came away knowing beyond all doubt was that Germans are freaks!
