Vehicle checks ..

It appears the RAC have removed their freebie vehicle check, which was handy
as a quick guide to how many owners a vehicle had had.

Anyone here know of a similar freebie service?

If that's all you need to know, then Ebay tells you when you enter a
vehicle registration number as part of listing a vehicle for sale.

 

I've used a service where you send a text to 83600 and start it off
with CTC a space then the reg number. I think it was about £6 and came
back with whether it was recorded stolen, written off, etc etc.

It seemed a lot cheaper than all the other places.
