How long not ridden - tight spot in chain? -- +-------------------------------------------------------------+ | Pete Fisher at Home: | | Voxan Roadster Gilera Nordwest Yamaha WR250Z | | Gilera GFR Moto Morini 2C/375 | +-------------------------------------------------------------+
Just took the bike out (for ITV (MOT) but didn't get it because they were too busy) for the first time in about 10 years - well it feels like that long. It vibrates like buggery at 100mph. What's causing that then? It was alright last time I rode it. Somebody fix it. -- Paul. CBR1100XX SuperBlackbird BOTAFOT #4 BOTAFOF #30 MRO #24 OMF #15 UKRMMA #30
Or, if it's been sitting on its tyres on the sidestand, they could have squared off slightly. But you have to leave a bike for a helluva long time for that.
TOG@toil, , I would guess that all the air has settled to the bottom of the tyre. He just needs to let it all out and refill it.
In uk.rec.motorcycles, flash belched forth and ejected the following: Nah, you just need to ride it to get the heavy air to disperse amongst and around the rest of the tyre.
