Something for those who remember the older bikes. Went up to the Kuranda motor cycle event last Saturday. Kuranda is a small town North of Cairns FNQ, near the Baron Falls I was happy to see a Vincent and a Manx Norton amongst the bikes, had not seen a Vincent in many years, it had the big speedo on it, not sure what model the Vincent was (Black Shadow ??). Come to think of it had not seen a Manx for a long time either. A lot of nice looking new or newish bikes up there, and I thought it was worth the trip. We saw some of the Cairns motorcycles shops had displays there. Of course Lillie Law was around, 2 speedies with their Kodak on the way up the range, and another one a few kilometres up further also taking pictures, plus a car breathalysing people only 500 metres from the event on a small country side road. Kuranda is only around 30 Km from Cairns, motor cycle events certainly bring out the fuzz in force. Hardly ever see a speedie around Cairns, so I guess the brought them up from down south for the event.
