I have corrective lenses glued into my scuba mask; they are a compromise as
the front of the lens has to be flat to mate with the inside of the mask.

That is not Wind Chill by definition, it is another effect, Wind Chill
    Factor is on exposed skin.

  3. Bloody pedant. OK - take the word Factor off my posts. But it is still
the same in the end run.

My original point was that airflow over a motorcycle visor is going to
cool down much more than a scuba mask and be more likely to fog. A
scuba mask settles down pretty quickly once you've gobbed in it and
dropped down. Visors tend to be another game because of the airflow
    over them.

  6. Underwater does compensate for short sightnedness. It just makes
tbings look bigger below the surface or at weird angles when looking
through the surface to underwater. Water cannot change my vision
    impairment unfortunately.

  7. I don't care how you want to define it. It's the same effect. Pass
fast cold air over something that has moisture and it will fog or ice.

  8. That was meant to say doesn't compensate.

It is not that we want to define it one way or the other, the world defines
Wind Chill Factor correctly, just admit you were wrong and we can move on.

You're probably right. The early 70's were a bit a of a blur, but yes,
I had the 500 Yam then and I got that in late 73, or early 74.
