Waht are Friends For ?

Hey up ! ! My good friend Fullstate and me finally made our connections
via telephone, this morning.. Both of us have been looking for catfish for a
while, now.. Dennis Wagner, who owns Grapevine Kawasaki is moving into his
brand spanking new building.. They've been inviting me over for several
days..

Fullstate and I decided to use that excuse for a little ride out for me..
Joe's Crab Shack is real close to that new and Gucci bulding that Dennis and
his lovely wife just built.. Since I am still kinda restricted to not
riding alone, Fullstate doubled to escort me...

Kind of an ugly day, but it's warm.. overcast as hell..muggy...

We hooked up at 360 and IH-30 and worked our way down south to Grapevine...
Damn.. ol' Dennis done himself proud on this one.. He's enlarged that
showroom to about twice the size of his other one.. Shop, parts and storage
is about the same... Gucci as hell.. makes an old biker, real self conscious
... But .. the same faces with their usual friendly welcomes to everyone.. I
enjoyed it..

The Crab Shack is real close and Fullstate and I just toodled on over there
to eat.. Had a very good lunch, and got caught up on our visiting.. Sheesh..
been a while.. Hey.. I been outta commision for something like three
months.. That's too damn long..

The ride was routine and uneventful.. I didn't tangle with any of the other
traffic or concrete walls.. Got back home in one piece and ready to prep the
Geen Vulcan for the trip to Austin in January.. Everyone have a happy New
Year.. hear ..
