Following on from my brief sojourn to the frozen north east the other week,
today I had to go to Wales [1] for the day [2].

Fucking cold it was, and generally 'orrible.

    [1] RAF St Athan
[2] Well, a couple of hours actually.

Heh no, they are having a clean room installed there in one of the repair
bays, I had to survey the AC installation.

Indeed. The strangeness is compounded by having to pay to get out of
    Cornwall.

Yeah, but who uses the Ferry? That's just for the chavs that live in
    deepest SE Cornwall.

Besides the really fucked up thing is that they charge for bikes going
into Cornwall, and charge for cars/lorries/etc the other way.

On the bridge they charge for cars etc coming out. Bikes are free both
    ways.
Foot passengers only, and mostly tourists.
