    Hi all.

I'm putting my FJR up for sale after it's service next week and I want
another Thunderace. (I traded one in for the FJR because of my ex's
knees, but now she's an ex and I want an Ace back.)

So, anyone know of someone flogging one? South UK better but will
travel. Not worried too much about looks if the price reflects it.
Good mechanical condition is more important.

Thanks, and keep it black bits down.

Sounds like you're in here Ace.
Does history record one of these sophisticated word plays in spamtraps that
    is actually funny?

    No more than post-editing 'jokes'.

Thanks. Looks a tad expensive but has panniers etc. If it's in VGC
may be worth it. Keep em coming folks. :)

    Mike Barnard says...
Horrendously overpriced. 1996 T/aces are fetching between 2200 and 2700
max privately, even in immaculate condition.

Mine's not for sale. Sorry but I like it too much and I don't know what
I'd replace it with right now, except another Thunderace.

Thanks to all for the price advice. For the £600 I could have 'lost'
by spending too much I could buy a subscription to "the black book",

    :)

Heh, you think *that* was overpriced?

    http://shop.bonanzamotorcycles.co.uk/product.php?action=view_product&product_id=122&parent=

But I also have a fancy for a Suzi TL thou. What about this?

    http://shop.bonanzamotorcycles.co.uk/product.php?action=view_product&product_id=116&parent=

I really have no idea what the correct price for many of these
machines are, so to stop bothering you is there an online used price
guide that you reccomend? I have googled and got loads of 'portal'
sites but so far no actual used bike price listings.

Thanks TOG. Bottle of claret due methinks.

  16. Bloody hellfire.
It's more realistically priced, but a TL is a very acquired taste. The
worst thing about them is the voracious fuel consumption coupled with
the tiny tank. 90-100 miles is all the range you get.
