Anyone used these types of no-wet washing products? Basically a fine spray
that rubs off with a cloth and lifts all the dirt.

Sick of dragging the bucket out and getting the bike soaking wet each time.

Ermm ... no, I haven't. I wasn't aware of such things. However, if you think
that getting 4000km of bugs, tar, dirt n shit off while using some magic
product that will no doubt result in shit loads of scratches, go for it!

However, I do use Meguires Quick Detailer just as that, a quick detailer,
but only on reasonably clean surfaces. If it's just got a bit of dust, or a
small bird poop it works wonders, and brings back a good shine etc.

I'd say just use with caution. From all accounds I think they're only meant
    for reasonably clean surfaces.

Not wanting to name the products, but useful doing a google for them.

I only have reasonably clean surfaces anyway..just to remove the light dust
and leave a protective, glossy coat afterwards without getting alll the damn
electrics wet all the time...not that it's a Triumph with dodgy electrickery
or anything.. (it runs Jap/Italian electrics anyway before any crass
    comments re: brit electrics eheh)

1st hand account would be useful ...you may be surprised.... a bit like
microfibre clothes.... have to use one to see how great they are...
