    They don't seem to be considering what you want though, do they?
    Companies have been making them since forever ago and they'll continue
    making them, and the chances are that your company will tell you that no-one
    is indispensible.
    That could speed things up. I'd be looking for pastures new now, while
    you've still got a job.

    soft landing place. Unless there will be a package on severance, of
    course, in which case having irons in the fire would be a good idea.

  8. I too worked for Galileo - first as a programmer then doing tech
    support.

    I wouldn't go back now that they are sliding inexorably into the
    abyss..
