    Bloody ignorant BBC. It's muck-spreading season, and our own sons of the
    soil are spreading animal and human waste like it's gone out of fashion,
    'cos the price of chemical fertilizer has shot through the roof.
    Nimbys need to know!

  5. Bit of a relief, really. We've had the local sewer clog up a
    couple of times since I moved in, but it's always been on someone else's
    account so far. As I walked out the door this morning I caught a whiff
    and thought, "Oh, bloody hell, where's the sewer blocked up now?"

    I was talking to someone today who mentioned that a cooling tower near where
    she lived used water from the local sewage farm. A lot of tomato plants for
    about 20 miles downwind...
