C&B no longer exists as a brand in the UK[0]. Their beans & ketchup have
been rebranded as Branston. Quite successfully apparently, taking market
    share

I don't eat beaked [1] beans but the Branston ketchup is nice.

As is Daddies. In fact, with cheddar cheese, Daddies is my preferred brand.
It's not as sweet & thick as Heinz. The tangier flavour contrasts with the
    cheese better, IMV.

[0] US parent sold C&B name rights to Premier Foods in UK, who seem to have
ditched the brand. C&B still going in US, it seems.

Nice Indian chap in Bradford. He had dozens of Proliant and Poweredge
servers of various specs. It was a regular cornucopia.
As you say, it's beer money, why wouldn't you.

Beans, food of the devil. I hate seeing a Full English polluted by the
    disgusting little devils.
I've opened a new squeezy bottle of Branstons brown and very nice it is. On
    mature cheddar as it happens.

On this I agree. In fact, any plate with a pool of baked beans puts me off
the food. The only use for baked beans is to add some to the mince & onions
going into a cottage pie. Gives a little texture variation and boosts the
    fibre content.
I'm not a fan of brown sauces. I prefer it in the form of pickle, with
    lumpy bits.

We use whatever the customer has already decided on...
....because we work from middleware up. OSes are all much of a
    muchness.

    Ah yes!

I knew I'd heard something recently so I've re-Googled and found this,
where they're reducing the number of branded items from 400 to 100 :eek:/

Hucking peasants. Heinz for hetchup, HP for brown. Accept no
    substitutes.

Do you have his contact details?
We occasionally need more spare servers than I have lying around and a
reliable cheap source is always handy.

I've had a glut of apples. On my drive from the neighbour's tree. I
should've turned them into something edible but I'm too lazy. 90p a jar,
once a month in Tesco is far easier.

Edam - lovely with Daddies red sauce. They make some nice cakes that
    certainly qualify as haute
    isn't that the Belge?
