    Hi folks.

Yesterday, up at Pie in the Sky, I met up with Lyn and Vic Leslie.

I haven't seen them for ages, and we were chatting about current bikes,
    changes, etc.

Lyn said that she still had her Guzzi Breva 750, but had run into a
    small problem with it.

The odometer got up to all the 9s on the display and then stopped working.

She contacted the importers, and they said they hadn't heard of the
problem since nobody else had ridden that model that far in Australia.

Apparently they are now waiting on a fix from the factory.

In the mean time, Lyn reckons she's done another 40,000 kms on it
according to the pushie trip computer she fitted. :)

    regards,

The level of 'impressive' varies proportionally to the number of digits in
    the display.

Though why it needs a factory fix - I can't imagine. Any half competent
instrument technician can reset it and then wind it on to approximate the
    number from the pushie thingy.

Aus Design Rules state that a car will have six digits on the
    odometer, motorcycles five digits.

The honda blackbird has a 6 digit speedo, but while the 5 mandatory
digits are decimal, the leftmost digit is binary.
