  5. I'll get into trouble for this, but we (Jeffles, Beth and me) were
    travelling along the Scottish border and I was commenting on how old
    something was. Beth (Jeffles' daughter for the uninitiated) pipes up
    from the back seat "How old is that?". Jeffles: "Not as old as
    Johnno".

    Allan certainly had the right ideals but IMHO an attitudinal problem. He was
    always right, even when he was wrong, and thought he could be righter by
    shouting at and abusing people. Then trying to get them thrown off the net
    by complaining to their ISP.
    No, you can be right. OTOH, it is very difficult to be right when having a
    hissy fot and abusing people.
    In the current newsletter he says he is thinking of giving it up and
    concentrating on his day job of writing children's stories.
    Got any real beer?
