What you seem unable to understand is that European young adults are far
more emotionally mature than their American counterparts.

I've met many many American teenagers, and a more fucked up bunch of
misfits you could never hope to meet. I put it down to the hugely
bigotted, prudish and hypocritical society they live in.

LA is a marvellous place, you can't go topless on a beach yet it's home
to 90% of the world's porn industry.

  4. Thanks for the injection of '50s morality, John. I'm sure that we're
all the more unenlightened for it.

  5. That's not the issue here, though, and your straw man is nonsense
(nobody that I've read has claimed that _all_ sixteen year olds are
adults). If you ask me, not all folks of _my_ age (or even _your_ age)
are adult in the sense that you imply.

What is important is that the law has created a semi-arbitrary cutoff
point where it regards a person as being able to make informed decisions
in matters of sexual consent. It is not perfect but it's one of many
equally valid guesses as to when _most_ people are able to decide who,
how and when they want to ****.

  8. True; they say beauty is only skin deep and real beauty lies within. I'd
certainly not want to give the creep's looks any enhancement by a
    concrete/physiognomy interface.

  11. Who's arguing?

Depends on circumstances dunnit? A sort of grey area type of thing.
Does the Widow Presley ever comment on this?
Yeah, well, see, it is apparent to me that you don't quite see Des in
the same way as me and I am not sure that his definition of reasonable
and mine are altogether the same either. Which only adds another
    variable to the equation.

That only holds true if there were no prior consent, which is something
we don't know, although I have my suspicions.
Yebbut we are sick to death of talking politics so thread changing is
what happens and to be frank it happens a damn sight quicker these days
than ever it used to before. Now I don't know if this is because we are
all finally reaching a consensus in that we now know for certain that
they are indeed nothing but a load of self serving cunts the lot of them
or because the sun is shining and riding bikes is so much fun at this
    time of year.

If you want. You go first, you seem to have quite an interest in the
    matter.

  13. Sorry, it's just that seeing UKRM rip the living shit out of James 'Nazi
Bastard' Noles, is just so fucking funny. He got his head handed to him
on a plate the last time he ventured in here (he was posting as 'Dr
Feelgood'), but _this_ is just .. stunning. Awe-inspiring.
    Apocalyptic.

The last time he was hammered this brutally, was in my last follow-up to
him (I killfiled him a couple of weeks ago).

  16. LOL ... one thing has just struck me about the two newsgroups, UKRM and
AADP. I like both, for different reasons, naturally enough, and UKRM, I
come in from a fair bit of flaming, and some of those flames can be
quite witty at times. But when anyone crossposts to AADP, I'm amazed at
how the AADP posters make UKRM look like incompetent, unfunny newbies.

There are a couple of UKRM posters who'd get on well on AADP (SD can be
biting from time to time, TOG quite obviously doesn't give a shit what
anyone thinks of him, and as for Dan White's demolition job on Noles
earlier today ... fucking _majestic_), but in the main, it's just as
well that they don't venture onto AADP more often. None of them would
    last five minutes.

You really are such a twat, aren't you?

When I was sixteen I'd left home and was travelling the world, earning
my own keep. Any suggestion that my life choices were limited because
I was still a 'child' would then, and still now, be laughed at.
Never was there any suggestion he didn't. You may live in a society
where consent isn't the normal state of affairs where sexual activity
is concerned, but it doesn't mean the same is true for the rest of the
    world.
Des may be many things, but this is not one of them, I'm sure. Lusting
after an imaginary 16 y-o girls is absolutely, perfectly, normal.

You point me to the part in any of my posts where I say I was looking
for sex with teenage females and you can stake a claim to everything I
    own.

As far as I'm concerned girls of 16 can bang their brains out, it
doesn't mean I want to be the man doing it to them.

You're full of shit, and you know it.
