Carmina Burana at the RAH, with the Royal Philharmonic Orch.

    Fucking "A".

Bike parking's a cinch, too. Right outside the door. :)

    ObClassicalquestion.

What's that popular song that takes the tune out of St Saens 3rd
    Symphony for Organ?

    Which was also good.

"The main theme of the Maestoso was later adapted and used in the 1977
pop-song 'If I Had Words' by Scott Fitzgerald and Yvonne Keeley. The
Maestoso movement has been used in the French exhibit at Epcot in Disney
World. The song and the symphony can also be heard in the 1995 family film

Yes, but I don't know the song by title - it just sounded familiar in
    the middle of the symphony.

By 'eck, when yon feller fires up t'old organ in t'Albert Hall, it
dunt 'alf give off some din.

No, I've no idea why I've gone all Fred Trueman. I'll stop.

So darsy referred to a film which doesn't have that music as the
    score, and I'm whooshed?

    Blimey.

Why didn't he pick "Holiday on the Buses", ffs?

well, I've cheered myself up now by buying a full HD resolution[1] 42"
LCD TV, at what I can only describe as "a surprisingly low price".

it was the full HD resolution + the twin HDMI inputs that was the
clincher for me. That and the price.
well, that's technology for you. My 32" LCD will now be on permanent
    xbox/PS2 duty.

Oh, so it was a dig at me for being an iggerant oik, then?

I've never seen the film, as it 'appens.

Horror & Sci-fi rank just above Martial Arts on my "must watch" list.

and just below "drying paint" or tennis.
