  1. I've just found out that our company User Group meeting is going to be
at the National Motorcycle Museum this year.

I shall make my speech and disappear for the afternoon. :^)

In the words of Paul Calf.

'I'd rather watch Dave Lee Travis play Macbeth.'

How can you not want a 750 V twin Machine Gun sidecar outfit?

Funnily enough a lot of people feel like that when given the chance to
    spend time in your company.

Explains how I missed WUN's original.

'Ere! Owjer know I'm bearded? And for the record, I have two-piece leathers.

    Heavy sighing.

All that needs now is a tray of horse-shit in the sidecar for growing
mushrooms, and that would tie-up all my main interests...

That said, if it's mid-week anytime between now and June, chances are
    I'll be in Edinburgh.

I could possibly use it as an excuse to go to the office & do a beer
detour on the way home too.

Natwest bank state owned? I say!

I think there's a world of difference between "not allowed" and "having
risk assessed the alternatives and possibilities: water damage potential
versus the other fire mitigation processes in place found the water
damage risk from accidental operation is greater and significantly
affected the insurance premium" - neither of which applied the to NMCM.

As others have said, not as rivettingly interesting as it could be.
All a bit, well, static, compared to more modern 'interpreted' museums
and exhibitions like the House of Mannanan. Needs more videos, audios
and 'stories' from people rather than just inert bikes.
