    100% riding on the dirt can get painful too. I just started reading
    Charlie Boorman's 'Race to Dakar'.

    Got to admire the bloke.
    Bollocks, I just realised I left the book in France.
    SWMBO read it first and kept telling me about little snippets. She was
    particularly amazed by a Dutch guy he writes about who did it without a
    huge back-up team. At the end of it all he said it was the best
    organised *holiday* he had ever been on. Apparently he was used to
    riding miles and miles through similar terrain on his own.
