What a *nice* surprise

Upon picking up the post when I got home from work, there were a couple
of letters from the bank. One was blatantly the usual loan stuff,
which upon opening it up was confirmed [1].

The other letter I opened with a bit of trepidation, for fear of having
gone further into the red. But, no...it turns out Barclays have sent
me a cheque for a couple of hundred quid because they failed to
re-imburse me when I paid a loan off early, so I got the re-imbursement
plus the interest too. Which was very nice. [2]

Of course, as the letter with accompanying cheque was dated the 14th,
it would have been even nicer had they posted it out to me sooner..

[1] It's coming up to Christmas, the world and his wife is offering to
    lend money atm, including Medicash.

[2] As I've managed to raise a bit of money from selling freebie stuff
on Ebay recently, perhaps it might be an idea for me to get a lottery
ticket for a change. I might be lucky enough to win a tenner.

I don't have your address to hand.

Oh, btw, as I don't eat all that much (only having a small appetite),
and don't do brekkie in the morning, shouldn't it be 18.5p each?

    Jesus, you two come cheap.

Do yourself a favour and take a leaf out of Auvache's book; big yourself

Send me a cheque for £1,000,000.37p. I'll send the change by Western Union.
No. Just because you fail to take advantage of the breakfast opportunity
presented, doesn't mean that the cost of providing it is lessened.

Err, actually, yes. I have always stipulated that I won't be doing
brekkie, and when mentioning it at payment time I haven't been charged
    so far.

Details man, I need details. 'The Oirish bloke that got knocked off
his bike sometime last year on that big roundabout in Brizzle' is not
    enough info )
