What an absolutely gorgeous day.

  1. Only 15C, but crystal clear blue sky, not a breath of wind and it feels
in the sunshine like a summer's day. Already been out on the pushbike and
now I think I might go for a walk down to the lagoon and throw things at
    the flamingoes.

I was thinking about taking the smoker for a run to Box Hill but slept
til gone 1pm so that plan's gone right out the window.

Might try and get down to Wimbledon stadium for the banger racing later
    though.

Where is it, that you live again?

Apparently in Seville, it's still short sleeves weather.

    And indeed I did.

    A thoroughly entertaining three hours.

    World Final?

If so, I've heard that's one of the best banger meets in the country.

A PITA to get in and out of too if travelling by car, due to how popular it
    is.

No, just a minor V8 stock final, 2 litre stocks and several rounds of
bangers. I've pencilled in the Winternationals meet on new year's day.
Easy for me, it's only just down the road.

I've never been there tbh... actually, come to think of it, not been to any
    of the tracks in yonks.

I normally go to Arena Essex or Coombe Valley in Dover, when I do go...
although the best meet I've been to by far so far was when Arena Essex took
on a European collective at Warneton in Belgium.

You normally get a bit of team rivalry out on the track at most meets - 2 or
3 drivers will work together to eliminate all the cars from another team,
but at that meet it was 20 Arena cars vs 20 Euro cars each race... bloody
    awesome hits etc. :-D

Would definitely go to a meet like that again.
I of course am missing the other obvious option - the bike.

  10. About an hour from here. Seville forms part of a triangle which they call
"la sartén". The wife's just come in from the patio because "it's too
hot" whereas I'm sat here freezing to death. These houses were built to
keep cool in the summer but they're a bastard in the winter. You could
fry an egg on my car but in the house we have the heating (ha!) on.
