True, I'm still hopeful but the realist in me is anticipating the worst.

Moto Guzzi Breva V750ie. Makes the commute to work that little bit
    more enjoyable.

Me too, but the realist in me keeps butting in.
    You sound like my boss.

Again, that's not my intent. After all I can't go back and undo what was
    done.
If you insist, go **** yourself. :)

Only had a couple of problems:

    One front brake caliper had its bolts rattle loose and fall off;
The kill switch on the sidestand got gummed up with chain lube and
    starting causing engine cut-outs.

The first one was the fault of whoever assembled the bike out of the
crate. The second one happens to pretty much every chain-driven bike I've
    ever had.

Everything else has been just fine.
    I'll consider it.
I'm hitting the hard stuff now - the lemonade is about ready to drink. :)

Ignoring the disclaimer you were forced to sigh or gain no treatment is
there any chance of suing the idiot who broke you leg while you were
    being repaired ?

I doubt it, there was plenty of hardware already in my leg before the
operation so there would have been screw holes and all sorts of other things
that could have provided weak spots in the bone. At the end of the day the
one main person responsible for the whole mess was the charming lady who
drove the Corona through the stop sign. I'm not about to attempt to crucify
a doctor that figured out the problem and did his best to fix it.

  17. Ask Joe Cook if he is laughing, he could/nt keep up with one through
the hills of Whittlsea riding a 1000cc FireShitBox, as a protest vote
he rode into a 4x4 and nuked himself.....

Best for all,the little boys can sleep in peace at night again....

Absolutely, he and his wife are the nearest thing I have to family since my
    father died.
Now go forth and multiply, without a partner. :)

I would have to agree with her.

Frankly, I am lost in admiration for folk who can do this kind of thing,
mostly because I am such a lazy bugger that I very rarely even polish my
bikes, as it's so much easier just to jump on one and go for a ride.

    regards,
