It would look better of the flag went down one side, starting from
just off centre on the headlamp and finishing about half way down the
    RHS pannier.

I had a ride of Adie's. Lovely. Pillion seat vetoed by wife, otherwise
    I'd have one.

I would broadly agree with Bear and Champ. Had a 595 for a year and rode
Adies 955. That said the GSXR1000 K1 I owned, which Loz now has, is
superior in most respects excepting the Triumph has better brakes and
    looks nicer than the K1/2.

You know what you can do, don't you? That's right.

Actually, I was thinking more calculator, mobile phone, double
    entry...

  11. Gotta hate double entries, always a killer to seek out. Much easier with
    spreadsheets than paper though.

I prefer the later ones, 03 onwards.
*Nothing* brakes better than my Gixer with the AP/PFM set up.
    Debateable. I like both equally.

Embarrassing. They're trying too hard. I think the best they've done was
the "Gentleman's Express" styling as seen on the later Trophies: solid BRG
paintwork, big gold "Triumph" logo on the tank, small Union flag on the
sides á la Bentley 4½ litre, chrome surrounds for headlights and clocks,
restrained B&W analogue dials. It was a big, thirsty, top-heavy old truck
of a bike, but the styling was terrific.

    Not that much ...

We're currently "baselining" our investment accounting system for SOx
compliance. Why? Because our IT dept has maintained no record of
version changes to our accounting system since inception (Nov '94).
Not a scrap of info. Needless to say, this is a little tricky when
trying to prove the robustness of one's accounting system to
    independent auditors.

So we've been given a set of dummy deals, funds, bank accounts,
etc.[1], and have spent the last two months (no, really) creating a
set of client reports and journal entries, by hand, from scratch.

A living hell, to a non-accountant. Not much joy if you are one,
either, judging by the expressions of the three on my team.

    A complete fucking shambles.[2]

[1] Which we had no part of setting up. They didn't even take real
deals over a real period - they made up instruments, and prices.

[2] Which very nearly got minuted at the last progress meeting.

Good to hear. I was concerned that it might be all lovely triple motor, and
    frankly not much else
The current ones aren't far behind, though they need a high level can. They
really lost the plot with the "mark 2", though
    That's just silly

  18. I did that to a '95 Daytona 900. Had a special all-over BRG paint-job,
which wasn't a factory option then [1], because that was my company colour.
Gold "Triumph" and the flags. Had very discreet stickers of our logo, in
gold. It looked just as you describe; like a two-wheeled Bentley.
    Magnificent.

[1] they only offered red, yellow, black and blue, ISTR. BRG was reserved
    for the Trophy.

Oi! A little backup would be appreciated here.

After all, whatever Colin visits upon me, I can always pass on on Pahnd

A bloke called Lance on the Yahoo Tiger group had a Turbo Tiger. He
sold it a couple of years ago - I think I mentioned it on here at the
    time.
