    He didn't see the accident though did he. He very probably is to blame but
    if he's told Plod what happened and has done the right things then having a
    go at him isn't going to make it any better for the scooter boi, and you
    have to work with him after.

    Nah, it isn't that bad in the grand scheme of things. Irritating and
    acute rather than chronic and constant. Gives me summat to swear at
    on chilly mornings ;-)
