    ........that the Weston beach race is rather big.

    ........that the Blackbird averages 37mpg at a steady ton with the occasional
    blast to 140 in heavy rain.

    ........that my waterproof jacket isn't.

    .........that the new horn is still very loud over the ton.

    ........that going out in heavy rain can be fun.

    Caught some overbanding on a slight left hander at over a ton. That was fun
    and good to know that my instinctive reactions are ok.

    I dunno - probably floats eventually. But what about at junctions where the
    buses and lorries stop for lights and you get that film of oily, dieselly(?)
    gunk - how long does that take to seperate itself from the road surface?
